在預賽以37分之差落敗的東山高中，11日複賽再度挑戰松山高中時展現出截然不同的戰鬥力，不斷和松山保持糾纏，但靠著高國豪以及王福堯的聯手發揮，松山仍以72比62收下勝利。
高國豪在上半場便狂拿24分，幫助松山取得42比33領先，下半場則由王福堯挺身而出，中距離連連得手，但東山韌性十足，在第四節靠著邱子軒、白曜誠連續搶分，最多曾將比分縮小至4分之差。
關鍵時刻高國豪再度接管比賽，搶下進攻籃板進算加罰，接著又投進三分外線，終於幫松山穩住勝局。
總計高國豪全場拿下33分，王福堯則攻下18分，多次中距離命中是松山保持領先的關鍵，賽後王福堯表示自己最喜歡用中距離拿分，另外他也將自己定位為球隊中的大鎖，希望每場比賽都能守住對手主力，讓球隊成績「扶搖直上」。
複賽打來和預賽大不相同，松山教練黃萬隆認為東山是首次打複賽，反而沒有戰績包袱、每一場比賽都勇於挑戰：「就像以前松山總是去挑戰再興一樣。」
對於近年來總是受人注目、擁有人氣球星，黃萬隆坦言這讓球隊擁有不少的壓力，希望不只是王福堯，其他球員也要有跳出來幫助球隊的表現，這場比賽對松山來說是很好的考驗，能夠贏下來是件好事。

眼看死對頭紅襪隊已經補強最大咖的前白襪先發投手Chris Sale，這壓力讓洋基隊總經理Brian Cashman(凱許曼)喘不過氣，他說：「這是大合約，也是超級交易，他們失去很多，但他們也獲得不少，他們就像是金州勇士隊一樣。」
